The surrounding artwork bursts with red, white, and blue fireworks, scattered stars, and a colorful border of anemone flowers that frames the bottom edge. This design merges the rugged charm of farm life with the bright energy of Independence Day celebrations.

The print at a glance

The central subject is a shaggy highland cow resting its hooves over the rim of a galvanized pail, creating a focal point that feels both sturdy and endearing. Surrounding the animal are stylized firework bursts in patriotic colors, along with wavy flag stripes near the top and a floral garland of red, white, and blue blooms at the base. The illustration style is detailed and painterly, giving the fur texture and depth while keeping the background elements graphic and bold. This composition belongs to the tradition of agricultural art reimagined for national holidays, blending rural aesthetics with civic pride into a single, cohesive image.
