African Safari Animals Blanket for Wildlife Lovers

African Safari Animals Blanket shows a watercolor gathering of wildlife, and the painted animals seem to share the same sunny clearing. You get to recognize each one at a glance.

What the design shows

A pair of lions lies low in the front, one with a full golden mane and steady eyes. Beside them a tiger strides forward, its orange stripes softened by loose brushwork. Behind the big cats a family of elephants stands among tall grass, with two small calves tucked close to an adult. Two giraffes lift their heads above the group, and a zebra with bold black and white stripes peeks in from the right. On the left an impala stands tall with curling horns and a spotted coat. Soft washes of green and cream fill the background, with a thin acacia tree on the horizon. The whole scene reads like a field sketch from the savanna.

Who it was made for

Wildlife fans notice the details first, like the spotted coat of the impala or the calves tucked beside the elephants. Families with young children often point out each animal by name. Nature lovers who have visited a safari park will recognize the scene, and anyone who keeps a reading corner will enjoy the soft colors. The African safari animals blanket suits a sofa in a family room, a guest bed or a cozy chair by a window.

As a gift and every day

This design makes a warm gift for a birthday, a graduation or a housewarming, especially for someone who talks about animals or travel. Give it to a child who loves zoo visits, or to a grandparent who remembers a trip to the savanna. Throw it over your legs on a rainy afternoon and let the lions and elephants keep you company. Choose the fleece or sherpa style to match the feel you want.
