Anchor Emblem Silent Service Blanket: Navy Submarine Badge Design

Anchor Emblem Silent Service Blanket displays the official United States Navy emblem featuring an anchor and submarine. The phrase Silent Service honors the dedicated crew of nuclear submarines who operate in secrecy. This design speaks directly to those who served or admire the underwater fleet, wrapping you in a symbol of maritime strength and specialized duty.

What the design tells

A large, traditional anchor stands vertically at the center of the circular badge, rendered in crisp white against the dark blue background. A simplified submarine silhouette passes horizontally behind the anchor shaft, representing the primary vessel of this naval branch. Curved white banners frame the imagery, bearing the text United States Navy along the top arc and Silent Service across the bottom ribbon. Gold outlines define the edges of the banners and the central circle, adding a touch of distinction to the military insignia. This specific combination of symbols identifies the unit responsible for strategic deterrence and underwater operations within the Department of the Navy.

People who will use it

Veterans and active duty submariners often choose this specific emblem to represent their time in the boat community. You might see the Anchor Emblem Silent Service Blanket draped over a couch in a home decorated with other naval memorabilia. It also makes a thoughtful present for a partner or family member who supports someone currently serving in the silent service. The design connects the user to a legacy of underwater exploration and national defense through its recognizable heraldry.
