Australian Shepherd Blanket for Dog Lovers Everywhere

Australian Shepherd Blanket shows a repeating field of happy Australian Shepherds, and the dogs are drawn with bright eyes and open mouths. Each one looks like it is about to bound off the cloth, which gives the whole piece an upbeat energy. If you love this breed, you will recognize the merle coats right away.

The design piece by piece

The main subject is the Australian Shepherd itself, shown in many poses. Some dogs sit with their front legs straight, some stand in profile with a plumed tail, and others turn their heads toward the viewer. Their coats blend slate gray, black, tan and white, the way the breed's merle and tricolor markings actually look. Across the tan background, small white dog bones and paw prints fill the gaps between the dogs, so the eye keeps moving from one animal to the next. The lines are clean and the colors are soft, which keeps the scene cheerful rather than busy. The pattern suits a herding dog that is always alert and always ready for a walk, a trick or a game of fetch. Taken together, the dogs, bones and paws make one friendly picture of a dog-filled afternoon.

Everyday moments

The people who will notice this first are owners of Australian Shepherds, who will spot their own dog's coat in the print. Anyone who has shared a home with this breed will also see the energy they know so well. With this Australian Shepherd Blanket, you can curl up on the couch during a movie night and let the dogs keep you company. It is also handy on a cool morning when you want something soft over your legs while you read. Dog lovers often end up with a blanket that goes everywhere, from the living room to a camping trip, and this design fits that habit.

When you need a gift

This blanket suits a birthday for a dog lover, a housewarming for someone who has just adopted a puppy, or a thank-you for a friend who keeps an eye on your pet. It also makes a gift for a new dog parent who is still getting used to a busy household. Give it wrapped with a few dog treats and watch the recipient's face light up when they see the dogs.
