A closer look at the print

The artwork presents a watercolor aesthetic where soft edges blend the organic shapes of the vegetables with the sharp points of the surrounding foliage. You will notice distinct variations in the pumpkin sizes, ranging from small round gourds to elongated varieties painted in creamy whites and earthy tans. Interspersed between these main subjects are delicate sprigs of berries and fern-like leaves that add texture to the negative space. The composition feels scattered yet balanced, resembling a natural arrangement one might find in a country kitchen or a farmhouse entryway. This specific style belongs to the tradition of botanical illustration, capturing the fleeting beauty of the fall harvest in a timeless, artistic manner rather than a cartoonish or overly commercial way.
