The artwork explained

Five distinct axolotls float through a deep, dark aquatic environment illuminated by rays of sunlight breaking from above. Each creature displays a different coloration, ranging from pale pink and albino to dark melanistic gray and golden orange, all featuring prominent external gills. They swim amidst green aquatic vegetation, round lily pads, and scattered air bubbles that rise toward the surface. The central figure faces forward with large, expressive eyes, anchoring the composition while others drift in various directions. This realistic yet stylized depiction celebrates the specific biological traits of the Mexican walking fish, turning a scientific curiosity into a decorative motif suitable for home textiles.
