Basset Hound on American Blanket: Patriotic Dog Art for Cozy Days

Basset Hound on American Blanket shows a tricolor dog portrait against a weathered flag background. The design blends classic breed features with vintage patriotic aesthetics to create a warm tribute to loyal companions. You will feel this was made for you if you love long-eared hounds and rustic Americana.

What the print says

A highly detailed, etched-style portrait of a Basset Hound takes center stage, showcasing its characteristic droopy eyes and long, floppy ears. The dog’s coat is rendered in rich shades of brown, black, and white, contrasting sharply with the background. Behind the hound, a distressed American flag spans the entire width, featuring faded red and white stripes and a navy field with worn white stars. The texture of the flag looks aged and rugged, mimicking old canvas or wood grain rather than shiny fabric. This artistic choice gives the blanket a historical, storytelling quality that elevates it beyond a simple graphic. The combination of the noble animal and the symbol creates a cohesive image of steadfast loyalty and tradition.
