Be Still and Know Blanket with Sea Turtle and Psalm 46:10

Be Still and Know Blanket wraps you in a coastal scene featuring a sea turtle and the verse be still AND KNOW THAT I AM GOD. The imagery of the ocean and turtle reinforces the message of finding peace amidst life's currents. The text flows elegantly above the creature, blending script and block fonts to match the organic shapes of the shell and waves. This design is made for those who find spiritual comfort in nature and scripture, offering a tangible sense of tranquility when draped over furniture or used for warmth.

Behind the design

A large sea turtle dominates the lower center of the print, rendered in cool blue tones that mirror the horizon line stretching across the top. Two small red starfish rest on the textured sand to the right, adding a subtle pop of color to the otherwise muted palette. Above the turtle, the words be still are written in a sweeping black script, while AND KNOW THAT I AM GOD follows in a structured serif font. Tiny silhouettes of seabirds fly near the citation PSALM 46:10, tying the marine elements to the divine message. This composition transforms a classic verse into a serene landscape where faith and the natural world coexist harmoniously.

Who gets the joke

People who love the ocean will notice the detailed texture of the turtle’s shell and the grainy sand immediately. A Be Still and Know Blanket becomes a conversation piece when someone recognizes the specific translation style or appreciates the artistic choice of placing a turtle in this context. It fits perfectly on a reading chair where the quiet mood of the artwork encourages reflection. Gifting this to a friend who collects marine life decor or studies theology shows you understand their unique blend of interests.
