Black Labrador Portrait Blanket for Dog Lovers

Black Labrador Portrait Blanket shows a calm black Lab looking straight out of the picture, and you will notice the amber eyes first. The dog's face is framed by soft ears against a deep, dark backdrop, so this black lab blanket feels like a quiet portrait you can wrap around yourself. It is a gift for anyone who thinks their dog is the most handsome one in the room.

What is printed on it

The design is a close portrait of a black Labrador, shown from the chest up and filling most of the blanket. Warm amber eyes sit under a broad, gentle brow, and the nose is a soft, dark shape that catches a little light. The ears fall low on either side of the head, with the fur softening into shadow as it moves toward the edges. Behind the dog, the background fades almost to black, which keeps all the attention on the face. The fur along the neck and chest is drawn with fine, layered texture, so the dog looks settled and present. There are no printed words, only the dog and the dark, low-key light that surrounds him.

Made for these people

You will likely recognize the people this print is for right away: Lab owners, long-time fans of the breed and anyone who has adopted a dog that came with a history. Rescue lovers often see their own companion in that steady, curious gaze. A blanket like this fits a family room, a reading chair or the foot of a bed, where a dog would usually settle in. Anyone who has ever said their black dog is hard to photograph will appreciate a portrait that makes the coat look rich and deep.

A gift idea that fits

This blanket works well for birthdays, adoption anniversaries and holiday gifts for someone who lives with a dog. It is also a kind choice for a friend who lost a Lab and wants a way to keep that face close. Pick the style that suits the moment: a Fleece Throw Blanket or Fleece Blanket for light, everyday cover, or a Sherpa Throw Blanket or Sherpa Blanket for a cozier feel on cold evenings.
