Blue Jay Blanket: Cardinal and Blue Jay Floral Throw

Blue Jay Blanket shows red cardinals and blue jays scattered across a white field of roses, and the birds are the first thing you notice. The flowers in purple and pink give the bright colors a soft frame, so the whole piece feels calm rather than busy. It is made for anyone who likes to watch the birds that come to the yard.

A closer look at the print

The red cardinals are drawn with full crests and warm red feathers, each one perched on a bundle of roses. The blue jays show their crested heads and striped blue wings, placed between the cardinals so the two birds alternate across the design. Purple and pink roses sit under and beside the birds, with green leaves and thin branches filling the gaps. The watercolor style keeps every edge slightly soft, which makes the scene read like a painted garden. It belongs to the world of backyard birds and spring blooms, a combination that suits anyone who keeps a feeder or a flower bed.

Who will love it

Bird watchers will recognize the two species at once and enjoy seeing them placed together. Gardeners often feel at home with the rose and leaf pattern. If you are the kind of person who keeps a list of the birds that visit, this Blue Jay Blanket will feel like it was drawn for you. You might wrap up on the couch during a slow morning, letting the cardinals and jays keep you company while you read or drink your coffee.
