Cat Lover Fall Blanket with Pumpkins and a Black Cat

Cat Lover Fall Blanket shows a black cat peeking out from a crowd of pumpkins, and the picture alone carries the joke. The pumpkins are drawn in navy, slate blue and cream, and the cat's wide amber eyes stare right at you. It reads as a playful scene rather than a loud seasonal print.

The design piece by piece

Pumpkins fill nearly every inch of the surface, overlapping each other in rows that tilt and shift. Some are deep navy, some pale slate, and some soft cream, each outlined with thin dark lines that mark the ribs and stems. The contrast between the cool blues and the warm cream gives the pattern a calm, modern look. In the middle of the field, a black cat has tucked itself between two pumpkins, with only its pointed ears, its face and its amber eyes visible. Its sleek black shape stands out sharply against the lighter pumpkins around it. The stems are drawn with simple curves and small notches, which keeps the style light and hand-drawn. Together these pieces make a patch that looks like the cat has wandered in and found the perfect hiding spot for autumn.

Everyday moments

People who share their home with a cat will recognize the look right away, since the cat seems to be watching from behind cover. It fits neatly on a sofa or armchair during long fall evenings, when the light goes early and the room feels warmer. Many cat lovers keep a throw like this within reach for afternoons with a book, a mug of tea and a cat curled up beside them. Cat Lover Fall Blanket also suits a quiet movie night, where it can be pulled over your knees while the cat claims the other end of the couch.
