Cat Scripture Verses Blanket: Ten Cats, Ten Verses

Cat Scripture Verses Blanket shows ten watercolor cats sitting in two neat rows under the words “you are,” each cat paired with a single word and its Bible reference. The words Light, Chosen, Beloved and the rest turn a row of cats into a quiet reminder of identity, and you will likely notice the verse labels before you notice the cats themselves. It was made for people who keep a cat and also keep a Bible close by.

The design piece by piece

The ten cats are drawn in soft watercolor washes, each seated upright with its tail curled neatly beside it. Their coats range from tabby orange and brown to gray, cream and calico patches, so no two look alike. Across the top, the words “you are” are written in a flowing black script that stands out against the pale background. Beneath each cat, a single word appears in small capital letters, followed by its book, chapter and verse. The words, such as Light, Chosen, Beloved, Blessed, Renewed, Protected, Hopeful, Victorious, Redeemed and Courageous, give each cat a different tone. The layout is orderly, with five cats in each row, and that tidy grid is what makes the picture easy to read at a glance.

Everyday moments

The people who will feel this blanket was made for them are cat owners who read scripture, along with friends who share both interests. You may notice it first when you spot the cats, then read the verses slowly. This cat scripture design fits a morning devotional on the couch, where the printed verses give you a word to carry into the day. It also suits a cozy evening when a cat settles in your lap and you want something calm to hold.

When you need a gift

This is a natural choice for a birthday, a housewarming, or a thank-you for a friend who has been kind through a hard season. It also works well for someone who has just adopted a cat and is starting to build a home around faith. Choose the fleece throw for everyday use or the sherpa throw when you want extra warmth on a cold night, and enjoy the way the cats and their words bring a little comfort into the room.
