Cats Among Wildflowers Blanket for Cat Lovers

Cats Among Wildflowers Blanket shows a meadow where several cats stroll, stretch and nap between clusters of daisies, lavender and small blue flowers. There are no printed words, so the scene tells the whole story. It is made for anyone whose life includes a cat or who simply enjoys the way cats move through tall grass on a warm afternoon.

Note: the mug shown in the photo are for styling only and not included.

What the print shows

The cats are drawn in soft watercolor shades, with orange, gray tabby, pale pink and black coats spread across the white background. One cat stretches out long across the middle, while another curls near the bottom edge with a bit of red yarn trailing beside it. Each animal sits in its own small patch of the meadow, so the eye moves from one to the next.

Around them grow daisies in yellow and white, spikes of purple lavender, and tiny blue and red blossoms on thin green stems. Small butterflies in blue, pink and yellow float between the plants. Together they make a summer garden that feels calm and a little playful, the kind of place a cat would choose for a long nap.

Who sees themselves in it

The first thing most people notice is the cats, each one doing something slightly different. Cat lovers will recognize the stretch, the sprawl and the quiet watchfulness. The flowers add a second layer, because many of the same people also love gardens and the color of a summer meadow.

You might spread this blanket over the arm of a chair for a cat who already claims the same spot every afternoon. It also fits a reading nook, a bedroom or a living room where the whole household gathers, and it reminds everyone that the cats are part of the scene.

Meant as a gift

Cats Among Wildflowers Blanket is a thoughtful choice for birthdays, spring and summer celebrations, or a new home with a cat in it. It is an easy pick for a friend who talks about her cat constantly or a relative who keeps a flower garden in full bloom.

Picture it folded over the back of a sofa on a lazy Sunday, with the afternoon light slipping across the daisies. Choose the Fleece Throw, Sherpa Throw, Fleece Blanket or Sherpa Blanket style that fits how you like to wrap up.
