Christmas Dachshund Pattern Blanket No. 2

Christmas Dachshund Pattern Blanket No. 2 shows a repeating arrangement of dark-coated dachshunds wearing festive sweaters and Santa hats, interspersed with striped candy canes on a red and beige plaid background. The artwork uses a textured, hand-drawn style that gives the impression of a classic holiday textile rather than a digital graphic. This design speaks directly to dog lovers who find joy in the quirky, elongated silhouette of sausage dogs dressed for the season.

A closer look at the print

The main subject consists of numerous dachshunds standing in profile, each adorned in either a red sweater with white snowflake patterns or a green sweater with polka dots. Every dog wears a red Santa hat with a white pom-pom, adding a uniform touch of holiday cheer to the scattered composition. Red and white candy canes appear throughout the negative space, floating at various angles against the checkered grid. This style belongs to the niche of rustic animal illustrations, capturing the warmth of a traditional family Christmas through simple, charming details that feel like an old storybook page.
