What the design shows

The baby elephant is the clear center of the print, with large ears spread wide and a round, open-mouthed grin. Its dark eyes look up toward the sky, and its trunk curls upward as if it is about to catch one of the butterflies drifting nearby. Several butterflies in lilac, pink and soft yellow float across the top and sides of the scene, adding small points of color.

Below the elephant, a border of flowers spills across the bottom edge. Blooms in coral, pink, purple and pale yellow crowd together, and their petals seem to glow against the backdrop. Behind everything, a rainbow wash of peach, mint and lavender fades into a sparkling, dreamy haze, with tiny specks of light scattered through it.

The overall style is gentle and storybook-like, with soft shading and no harsh outlines. It feels like a page from a bedtime book, where every animal is friendly and every afternoon is sunny. The mood is calm and happy, and the colors blend into one warm picture from edge to edge.

Who it was made for

You will likely notice the joyful little elephant first, then the butterflies that seem to follow it around. People who love baby animals, especially young children and the adults who read to them, tend to feel an instant connection to this scene.

This blanket fits well into everyday life. Drape it over the arm of a reading chair on a quiet weekend, or bring it along to a sleepover or a cozy movie night. Animal lovers who keep a favorite spot on the couch for an afternoon nap will find this print easy to enjoy again and again.
