Dachshund Dog Portrait Blanket for Dog Lovers

Dachshund Dog Portrait Blanket puts a black and tan dachshund right in front of you, gazing up with big amber eyes and an expression that seems to ask for a treat. No words are printed on it, so the charm comes from the face itself. It is made for anyone who has ever been won over by a long-eared dog looking up from the floor.

Artwork and lettering

The dog fills the center of the blanket, its head tilted slightly so both eyes catch the light. Its ears hang long and glossy on either side, and fine highlights trace every strand of fur along the muzzle and collar. The tan markings above the eyes and around the mouth frame the black coat and give the face its warmth. A thin collar with a small buckle sits just below the chin. The dark background keeps all attention on the dog, so nothing competes with that steady, hopeful stare.

Made for this crowd

Dachshund owners will notice the tan points and the long ears first, because those are the features that mark the breed. People who have lived with a wiener dog will recognize that particular look that appears whenever dinner is being prepared. This design also suits anyone who simply adores the breed and wants a dachshund on their couch without a real dog stealing the spot. You can pull the blanket over your legs on a cold evening and feel like the dog is keeping you company.

Moments it suits

Dachshund Dog Portrait Blanket works well as a birthday gift for someone whose life revolves around a wiener dog. It also fits housewarmings, holiday exchanges or a thank-you for a friend who keeps your dog while you travel. You might spread it over the sofa on movie nights, or fold it at the foot of the bed for lazy weekend mornings. The fleece throw, sherpa throw, fleece blanket and sherpa blanket styles each suit a different corner of the home.
