Dachshund Dogs and Paw Blanket for Dog Lovers

Dachshund Dogs and Paw Blanket shows a lively crowd of long-bodied dachshunds in tan, black and white, mixed with black paw prints and small dots on a bright background. There is no printed text, so the charm comes entirely from the pattern. It is made for anyone who loves these low, sausage-shaped dogs, or who has one curled up at their feet.

Note: the pillow shown in the photo are for styling only and not included.

The print at a glance

The dogs are the clear stars here, shown in a range of poses, some standing, some stretching and a few turning their heads. Their coats mix warm tan with deep black, and a couple of the dogs wear a soft white and spotted coat that adds variety. Black paw prints and tiny dots fill the spaces between them, so the whole layout feels like a walk through the yard. Each dog has the unmistakable long body and short legs that make dachshunds so easy to recognize. The bright white ground keeps the colors crisp and lets every figure stand out. Together the dogs and paws create a cheerful, busy scene that looks just as at home on a sofa as it does across a bed.

Who it is for

You will likely feel the pull of this design first if you already share your life with a dachshund. The pattern reflects the everyday moments of dog ownership, such as paw prints trailing across the floor and a favorite pup stretched out in a sunny spot. It also suits friends who have a wiener dog and would love to see one wrapped around them on movie night. Anyone who adores the breed will recognize the shape at once and enjoy the variety of coat colors. The blanket is equally fun for a dog-loving reader who wants a bit of canine company while curled up with a book.
