Deer and Bear Blanket for Rustic Cabin Living

Deer and Bear Blanket shows a woodland scene split into a patchwork of framed squares, each one holding a different piece of the forest. Two deer walk through a misty birch grove, a grizzly bear strolls past dark pines, and a cluster of pine cones hangs from a branch in a neighboring block. Paw prints and red-brown maple leaves fill the corners, while diamond-shaped southwestern motifs in rust and muted green run between the scenes.

What the design shows

The deer scene is the centerpiece, with a pair of antlered deer set against soft blue mountains and tall evergreens. The bear is drawn in deep brown with a simple, confident outline, and it sits on a warm tan background that echoes the lodge style. Pine cones and needles appear in several squares, so the design feels like a walk through a single season in the forest. Each element is set into a dark border, which gives the whole piece the look of a classic quilt. The browns, tans and dusty greens tie everything together, and the maple leaves add a touch of autumn red that keeps the palette from feeling flat.
