Easily Distracted by Frogs Blanket: Watercolor Frog Throw

Easily Distracted by Frogs Blanket shows watercolor frogs among daisies, with the words “Easily Distracted by Frogs” across the top. The line is a playful nod to anyone whose attention drifts the moment a frog hops into view. It is made for the friend who stops mid-walk to watch a tree frog on a leaf.

The print at a glance

A large frog sits at the center, looking up toward a white daisy with its head tilted. Smaller frogs perch on mossy stones at the corners, one of them holding a daisy close to its chest. Soft green leaves and blossoms fill the spaces between them, and faint splashes of yellow paint add movement to the background. The lettering is bold and rounded, set in deep green so it stands out against the pale wash. Words such as “Life is Better with a Frog” and “All You Need is Love and a Frog” are arranged around the frogs in stacked lines. A small speech bubble reading “Love U” sits near the top right. The whole piece reads like a botanical sketchbook page for someone who spends their evenings by the water.

Who it is for

This blanket suits people who notice frogs before anything else on a trail, by a pond or along a garden path. It will also please a child who keeps a jar of tadpoles on the windowsill. Teachers, nature guides and amateur herpetologists often collect pieces like this for their homes. The reference in the top line will land immediately with anyone who has ever dropped everything to watch a frog.

Occasions to use it

Give it for a birthday, a housewarming or a thank-you to a friend who always spots wildlife first. Wrap it up for a teacher's end-of-year gift or a nature-lover's holiday present. On a rainy afternoon, it makes a cozy companion for reading a field guide. Choose the fleece throw, sherpa throw, fleece blanket or sherpa blanket depending on the feel you want when you curl up.
