Faith Planks Wooden Scripture Blanket for Men of Faith

Faith Planks Wooden Scripture Blanket shows stacked wooden planks, each carrying a short verse, and the top plank reads “MAN OF GOD.” Below it, lines like “CHOSEN” and “A child of God” speak directly to a believer who wants to be reminded of his place in God's plan. It suits the man who finds steady encouragement in Scripture, and the people who love him.

The print at a glance

The planks are stacked one above another over a weathered gray wood backdrop, so the whole piece reads like a wall of boards. The top plank is a deep slate tone with “MAN OF GOD” in large white capitals. Beneath it, a brown plank holds “You are …” beside a small white cross and an open book.

The lower planks carry the verses. “CHOSEN” sits in bold capitals with “1 peter 2:9” beside it, and “Made for a purpose” is written in flowing script above “ephesians 2:10.” “A child of God” appears in bold white on a dark plank with small fish outlines, followed by “His workmanship” on a warm brown board. Further down, “Equipped with strength for the battle” and “HEALED BY HIS STRIPES” carry their references, and the final plank reads “Forgiven and set free” between two small dove outlines.

Each plank changes color and lettering style, so the verses stay distinct as you read down the blanket. The mix of block capitals and handwritten script gives it a rustic, hand-lettered feel that works for a man who likes things to feel grounded.

Who it is for

This blanket is for the man who keeps a Bible on the nightstand and returns to certain verses when life gets heavy. He will notice the “MAN OF GOD” heading first, then read the planks one by one, pausing on the lines that match what he is going through. Friends and family who know his faith will see the choice as personal, not generic.

You might wrap it around him while he reads on a Sunday afternoon, or drape it over the couch where he prays before bed. It also works for a father, grandfather, or church leader who spends long evenings in a favorite chair and wants a reminder of his identity in Christ close at hand.

Occasions to use it

Birthdays and retirements are natural moments for this design, especially when the recipient has served a church or community for years. A baptism anniversary or a men's fellowship milestone also gives the verses a meaningful setting.

It makes a warm choice for Father's Day or a thank-you to a pastor, deacon, or small-group leader. On quieter days, it is simply a blanket to pull over the shoulders during an evening of reading, reflection, or a long phone call with someone who matters.
