Floral Horse Blanket for Horse Lovers and Riders

Floral Horse Blanket shows painted horses wandering a dark navy field among pink roses and orange blooms, and it is the first thing you notice when you walk in. No words are printed on the design, so the scene tells the whole story. It is made for anyone whose free time is spent near horses.

Note: the pillow shown in the photo are for styling only and not included.

Behind the design

The horses on this blanket come in many coat colors, including bay, palomino, paint, gray and dappled spotted coats, and each one is painted with its own pose. Some face forward, others turn away, which keeps the eye moving across the blanket. Between them sit pink roses, orange blossoms, cream-colored flowers and small green leaves that fill the gaps. The navy background makes every warm color glow, so the pattern feels bright without being loud. Together the horses and flowers read like a meadow in early summer, the kind of place a rider wants to be after a long week. The painted look also gives the scene a hand-made feel that suits a barn or a porch swing.

Who gets the joke

Riders will recognize their own horses in the mix of colors, and barn workers will notice the paint and palomino coats right away. You will also find this print a favorite of anyone who keeps a horse-themed room or collects horse decor. For a horse lover, the blanket works like a small window into the pasture. Some people wrap up on the couch to watch a show while the horses look down from the throw, and others bring it to the stable for a cold morning. If you know someone who talks about their horse all day, they will feel this was made with them in mind.

Gift and choice

This blanket fits birthdays, holidays, a riding milestone or a housewarming for a new horse owner. It also makes a warm surprise for a teen who has just started riding lessons. Choose the Fleece Throw Blanket for everyday lounging, or the Sherpa Throw Blanket when you want extra warmth on a cold night. You may also see the same design in the Fleece Blanket and Sherpa Blanket versions, so you can pick the one that matches the way they relax.
