Flower Meadow Cats Blanket: Kittens in Bloom

Flower Meadow Cats Blanket opens onto a sunny patch of grass where five kittens peek out from between blossoms. Nothing is printed on it, so the charm comes entirely from the scene itself. Cat lovers who want a cozy picture of playful kittens will feel this was made with them in mind.

How the design is put together

Five kittens sit close together in the center of the picture, their bodies tucked into a bed of green leaves. Two orange tabbies sit at the top, one black-and-white kitten peers over the others, and a white kitten with bright blue eyes leans forward in the front. Each face is painted with its own expression, so the group feels lively rather than posed.

Around them, the flowers are painted in a loose, watercolor style. Pink cosmos, yellow buttercups, white daisies and deep orange marigolds fill the spaces between the cats. Purple blooms sit at the lower right, and small blossoms dot the grass all the way to the edges.

Monarch and sky-blue butterflies float through the meadow, one near the top right corner and another at the lower left. Together they give the scene a sense of soft movement, as if the kittens have just noticed something new in the garden.

Who will enjoy it

Cat owners tend to notice the kittens first, especially the blue-eyed white one in the front. Flower lovers will likely spend time on the blossoms and butterflies, which fill almost every corner of the picture. Both groups tend to find something new each time they look at Flower Meadow Cats Blanket.

This blanket fits naturally into a living room, a reading nook or a bedroom where you like to curl up with a book. It also works on a chair during a lazy afternoon, when the bright colors add a little warmth to a gray day.

For gifting

Flower Meadow Cats Blanket suits a birthday for a friend who talks about her cats all the time. It also makes a thoughtful housewarming present for someone moving into a first apartment with a garden view. Spring gatherings and garden-party hosts often appreciate a picture this cheerful.

When you give it, you might tell the recipient to look for the kitten peeking from the top edge, or to find the butterflies hidden in the greenery. The Fleece Throw Blanket, Sherpa Throw Blanket, Fleece Blanket and Sherpa Blanket styles all carry the same meadow scene.
