Goofy Horse Blanket for Animal Lovers and Cozy Days

Goofy Horse Blanket greets you with a cartoon horse whose eyes are wide and whose ears are pricked toward the viewer, and that startled look is the whole point. The design carries no printed words, so the humor sits entirely in the expression. It was made for anyone who enjoys a character that seems a little surprised by the world.

What the design shows

The horse fills most of the frame, its large brown eyes wide open with bright highlights that make it look alert and slightly bewildered. Its ears rise high on either side of a tousled forelock, and a band of rich brown and chestnut hair falls across its forehead. Long strands of mane in teal and deep blue flow down the side of its neck, adding movement to the composition. A pale blaze runs down the center of the face toward a broad, soft muzzle with flared nostrils and whiskers spreading outward. Behind it, a sky of pale blue fades into soft clouds, while a meadow of golden grass and small orange wildflowers fills the lower edge. The style is painterly and loose, with visible brush strokes that give the whole scene a hand-painted warmth. Every part of the picture points back to the horse, so the eye settles on that surprised face first and then wanders out to the fields around it.

Who it was made for

Horse lovers will notice the attention to a horse's features, from the shape of the ears to the blaze and the flared nostrils. Fans of cartoon animals will enjoy how the artist turned a familiar animal into a character with a clear personality. Riders and stable visitors may recognize the tousled forelock and the wind-blown mane. Many people find that this goofy horse blanket fits a reading corner, a sofa that gets used for movie nights, or a bed where it can be pulled up on a chilly morning. It is equally at home on a camping trip or in a waiting room where a friendly face helps the time pass.

As a gift and every day

This design suits birthdays, housewarmings and holidays when a horse-loving friend or relative is hard to shop for. It also works for a teenager who has moved into a new room and wants something cheerful to brighten it. On ordinary days, the throw invites you to slow down, sit back and enjoy the painted meadow. Pick the fleece or sherpa style that suits your taste and let the wide-eyed horse keep you company.
