Gothic Skull Roses Blanket

Gothic Skull Roses Blanket displays a dense, dark floral arrangement where skeletal heads rest among blooming roses and fluttering insects. The artwork combines the fragility of flowers with the permanence of bone, creating a visual balance that feels both elegant and eerie. Woven into the pattern are tiny stars and crescent moons that add a mystical quality to the composition, making it more than just a seasonal decoration. This piece was made for those who appreciate the artistic side of the spooky, finding beauty in the intersection of life and death.

The design piece by piece

Large, weathered skulls serve as the focal points of the print, each marked with small star tattoos on their foreheads. Deep burgundy and violet roses bloom around the craniums, their petals rendered with fine, sketch-like detail. Delicate moths and butterflies with spread wings navigate the spaces between the flora and fauna, while golden crescent moons and scattered sparkles provide a celestial counterpoint to the dark background. The overall style resembles a vintage botanical illustration or a page from a grimoire, tying together the hobbies of goth fashion, tattoo art, and dark romanticism into one cohesive image.
