Happy 60th Birthday Typography Purple Blanket

Happy 60th Birthday Typography Purple Blanket shows the milestone in big lettering, with the words “Happy 60th Birthday” set across the center of a deep purple field. Above and below it, pink and gold script adds bursts of color, and small hearts and sparkles scatter through the panel. The effect reads like a bold party invitation, one that gets noticed the moment it is unfolded.

A closer look at the print

The center panel is the clear focus, with the number 60 set very large in white and “Birthday” written in a glossy pink script. Words like “Fun,” “Awesome” and “Brave” sit above it, while “Loving,” “Fabulous,” “Cool” and “Passionate” run along the bottom. Around the edges, smaller squares carry quotes such as “You are my sun my moon & all my stars” and “It took me 60 years to look this GOOD,” so the eye moves from one line to the next. A few of the panels offer a little math, counting the years into months, weeks, days, hours and minutes, which gives the design a playful, almost scientific touch. Gold crowns, a high heel and lips add a glamorous note that fits the theme. Taken together, the piece feels like a scrapbook page for a woman who has earned every candle on her cake.

Who will love it

The woman celebrating sixty will probably spot the jokes first, especially the lines about being “More fun than Two 30 Year olds” and having 21 with 39 years EXPERIENCE. Her friends and family will enjoy hunting for the sayings they know she loves. The phrase Happy 60th Birthday Typography Purple Blanket fits naturally into a birthday party, where guests can point out their favorite square. It is also a good pick for a coworker or neighbor who has a strong sense of humor about turning sixty.
