A closer look at the print

A young highland cow with dense, curly reddish-brown fur sits comfortably inside a distressed blue-gray galvanized tub, its front hooves resting gently over the rim. Large yellow sunflowers with dark centers bloom at the bottom corners and along the top edge, framing the central figure against a backdrop of white painted wooden planks that show subtle weathering and grain. The illustration style blends realistic texture with a soft, painterly touch, emphasizing the contrast between the rough metal, the soft fur, and the delicate petals. This composition belongs to the genre of farmhouse animal art, celebrating rural charm through the innocent gaze of livestock and the enduring symbol of summer blooms.
