The print at a glance

A large central panel anchors the design with a chestnut horse standing calmly beside a wooden fence post in a green pasture dotted with red wildflowers. Surrounding this focal point are numerous smaller rectangular vignettes showcasing different coat colors, including black, white, and palomino, alongside images of foals nursing or playing. The layout is structured like a traditional quilt, utilizing geometric barn quilt blocks in the corners and along the borders. These patterned squares feature intricate star and diamond motifs in deep reds and tans that contrast with the naturalistic photography. The entire composition is framed by a solid tan border, tying the diverse elements of breed studies and folk art into a cohesive, rustic whole.
