Mandala Hummingbird Blanket for Calm Evenings and Gifts

Mandala Hummingbird Blanket shows two hummingbirds in flight against a sky full of glowing stars, and you can feel the calm of a night spent outdoors in it. The birds are the clear focus, and the galaxy around them does the rest.

The design piece by piece

Two hummingbirds hover across the blanket, one lower left and one upper right, with their long beaks pointed toward the center. Their wings shimmer in teal, violet and pink, and tiny points of light trace the feathers as if the birds were made of starlight. Beneath them, a bright turquoise ribbon of sparkling dust sweeps across the print, linking the two birds like a trail left behind in flight. Behind the birds, soft magenta orbs glow in the dark blue sky, giving the scene depth. Mandala patterns sit in the four corners and along the edges, drawn in fine lines of teal and purple that echo the shapes of flowers and lace. Together the hummingbirds, the stardust and the mandalas create a picture that feels both natural and otherworldly.

Everyday moments

This is the kind of throw you reach for when you settle into a favorite chair with a book or tea. The bold but soothing colors look lovely draped over the arm of a sofa, and the birds catch your eye each time you walk past. Hummingbird lovers will notice the flight poses right away, while others simply see a dreamy galaxy. If you want this mandala hummingbird blanket to feel like part of your room, pair it with plain neutral cushions so the print stays the focus.

When you need a gift

This blanket works well for birthdays, Mother's Day and housewarming parties, especially for someone who loves birds or stargazing. You might give it to a friend who keeps a hummingbird feeder on the porch, or to a coworker who talks about night skies at every lunch. Pick the fleece throw for a light, easy wrap, or the sherpa throw if you want a thicker, cozier feel. Either way, it makes a thoughtful gift for a cool evening on the couch.
