Muscle Cars American Cars Blanket with three classic rides

Muscle Cars American Cars Blanket shows three classic muscle cars rendered in bold line art over a red, white and blue backdrop of scattered stars. Nothing is printed on the design, so the picture does all the talking, and it speaks clearly to anyone who still turns their head at a chrome grille and a long, low hood. It is a blanket for people who grew up admiring these shapes or who simply love the look of American steel.

Artwork and lettering

The red car at the top is angled as if it is climbing out of the frame, with its front wheel cut off by the edge of the print. Below it, a white car with a black hood and dark window glass faces left, its headlights and grille drawn in crisp black detail. At the bottom, a blue car with a wide chrome grille and two round headlights fills the lower right, its front end pushing toward the viewer. Each car is outlined in heavy black ink, and the shading is kept simple, so the shapes read clearly from across the room. The background shifts from deep blue at the top to red at the bottom, and white stars in several sizes drift across the whole field. Some stars are red and some are blue, which ties the artwork into the same palette as the cars. Together the three vehicles and the starry sky give the print the feel of an old poster for a car show.

Made for this crowd

The people who will notice this design first are drivers and car fans who can name a model by its taillights. It also suits anyone whose garage smells faintly of oil, or who keeps a shelf of model cars and hangs posters of classic coupes. Families who spend weekends at drag strips and cruise nights will recognize the look right away. Muscle Cars American Cars Blanket works well for those people on a cold evening, draped over a recliner while the game plays or a documentary about engines rolls on the screen. It is just as at home in a camper or pulled over a sleeping bag at a campground where the conversation drifts to horsepower.
