The design in detail

A central graphic depicts a masked nurse in uniform reaching up to adjust an IV bag, anchoring the composition with the large script Working the Pole. Surrounding this focal point are rectangular patches featuring slogans such as Nurses We Can't Fix Stupid but We Can Sedate It and I Will Stab You, which use dark humor to reflect clinical experiences. Other sections include a heart monitor line forming a stethoscope shape next to Cute Enough to Stop Your Heart and Skilled Enough to Restart It. The layout mimics a patchwork quilt with varied fonts and icons like syringes, pills, and crowns set against black, pink, and gray backgrounds. Geometric borders frame the entire piece, tying the disparate quotes into a cohesive tribute to the nursing lifestyle.
