Once a Wrestler Always Blanket: A Vintage Wrestling Throw for Life

Once a Wrestler Always Blanket shows the phrase Once a Wrestler Always a Wrestler and compares wrestling to the Mafia. The bold lettering and action graphic remind you that this identity stays with you forever, and former athletes will feel this was made specifically for them.

How the design is put together

The artwork features a cream-colored background printed with large, distressed typography in red and navy blue. The central text declares that no matter where you go or what you do, you can never truly get out of it because it is like the Mafia. Below the text, an illustration depicts two male wrestlers in mid-air action, wearing red and blue singlets while executing a takedown move. The font styles mix script headers with heavy block letters to create a retro sports poster look. This visual combination celebrates the intense dedication and lifelong bond shared by those who compete on the mat.

Who will enjoy it

Former competitors and current team members notice the specific reference to the Mafia immediately. This Once a Wrestler Always Blanket fits perfectly on a couch during game nights or as a personal comfort item after practice. It also makes a thoughtful present for a coach or a senior athlete graduating from high school or college wrestling programs.
