Opossum Camping Blanket for Outdoor Lovers and Cozy Nights

Opossum Camping Blanket shows a grinning opossum sitting on a fallen log with a mug stamped with a small pine tree, and nothing else is written on it. The joy in the pose does all the talking, so you read the whole mood before you read a single word. It is for anyone who has ever answered a noisy night outdoors with a big grin.

Note: the pillow shown in the photo are for styling only and not included.

Behind the design

The main figure is a plump opossum with a pale face, pink nose and rounded ears, eyes squeezed shut in a wide laugh. It holds its mug with both paws, and the tiny green tree on the cup echoes the forest behind it. A second opossum peeks in from the right, half hidden beside a rolled blanket and a green backpack. A glowing lantern sits on the ground at the edge of the scene.

Behind them, a yellow tent glows under a line of string lights, and a dark blue sky is full of stars and a pale moon. Tall pines and a distant mountain fill the background. At the bottom, a crackling campfire sits in a ring of stones, surrounded by daisies, yellow blossoms and red-capped mushrooms. Every element is painted in a soft, storybook style that makes the whole campsite feel warm and a little magical.

Who gets the joke

Campers, hikers and anyone who loves a weekend under the trees will notice the details first: the lantern, the backpack and the tent. Animal lovers will smile at the opossum itself, a creature most people rarely see up close and rarely see painted this sweetly. Kids and grown-ups who spend their free time outdoors will recognize that look of pure contentment.

You can bring this blanket onto the couch after a long day, or wrap it around your shoulders while the real fire is going outside. It fits right in on a porch swing, in a cabin or in a tent when you are off on your next trip. This is the kind of throw that makes a quiet night feel like a camping trip.

Gift and choice

This blanket works well for a birthday, a holiday or a housewarming for someone who loves the outdoors. It is also a fun send-off for a friend heading off on their first camping trip. Pick the Fleece Throw Blanket or Sherpa Throw Blanket for a cozy wrap, or choose the Fleece Blanket or Sherpa Blanket for a larger size.

When you give it, you give a little piece of the campsite, the glow of the fire and the sound of the night. Every time it comes out of the closet, it will remind someone of the stars overhead and the comfort of a campfire.
