Our Father Prayer Blanket: The Lord's Prayer Throw

Our Father Prayer Blanket carries the full text of the Lord's Prayer across its center panel, starting with “Our Father, WHO ART IN HEAVEN” and ending with “AMEN.” The words sit over a warm golden sky, so the prayer reads like something you could take in at a glance. It was made for anyone who wants these familiar lines close by.

Artwork and lettering

The centerpiece is the prayer itself, set in a serif script title that reads “The Lord's Prayer” above the verses. A white dove floats beside the lines, its wings open against the sunlit clouds. Around the text, eight framed scenes show Jesus with a lamb in soft robes, a robed figure raising his hands toward light, a pair of hands cupped in prayer with a glow of light between them, and a cross wrapped in red fabric. Lower panels show a glowing cross with a dove above it and a red sunset behind a single cross on a hill. A dark red border with small gold crosses runs around the whole piece, tying the scenes together.

Made for this crowd

The people who reach for this blanket usually know the prayer by heart, and they notice the printed text first. It suits families who say grace together, parishioners who pray at home in the morning, and anyone who keeps scripture close during a hard season. Our Father Prayer Blanket fits a reading chair, a hospital bedside or a couch where someone sits in quiet reflection.

Moments it suits

This design makes a thoughtful gift for a baptism, a first communion, a confirmation or a sympathy visit, when the words of the prayer can carry a lot without needing much explanation. Give it to a grandparent who prays the prayer each night, or to someone recovering at home who needs something warm and familiar to hold. You can also enjoy it yourself on quiet evenings, with the prayer in view as you rest.
