Our Lady of Guadalupe Mosaic Blanket featuring a praying Virgin Mary

Our Lady of Guadalupe Mosaic Blanket features a serene depiction of the Virgin Mary rendered in colorful mosaic tiles. Her hands are clasped in prayer beneath a radiant, segmented halo that bursts with golden and amber hues. This design captures the spiritual stillness of faith through an artistic lens that feels both ancient and modern. It is made for those who find comfort in religious art and wish to carry a sense of peace into their daily rest.

The print at a glance

The central figure is portrayed with eyes gently closed and palms pressed together, embodying a moment of silent supplication. Surrounding her head is a complex array of rectangular and square tiles in shades of gold, cream, and soft blue, simulating the effect of light passing through stained glass. Her robe is composed of deeper red and indigo fragments that contrast sharply with the luminous background. The entire composition avoids smooth gradients, relying instead on distinct, blocky shapes to define form and shadow. This technique belongs to the broader tradition of mosaic art used in sacred architecture, translating centuries-old ecclesiastical aesthetics into a portable textile format. The result is a visual texture that invites close inspection, revealing new color combinations and structural details as you move across the surface.
