Owl Family Blanket: A Cozy Woodland Throw for Owl Lovers

Owl Family Blanket shows OWL FAMILY printed on a carved wooden plaque, and that line says what the whole picture is about. Seven owls of different species sit close together, as if they belong to one household. It is made for anyone who has ever wanted a group of watchful, quirky friends.

Artwork and lettering

Seven owls fill the center of the print, each one a different species with its own markings. A snowy white owl sits on the left, a barn owl with a heart-shaped face sits on the right, and a row of smaller owls with speckled and striped feathers sits below. The owls look straight out at you, and their large round eyes give the scene its calm, watchful mood.

Above them, a sky of moons and stars sits in the dark background. Full moons and crescents float in a soft arch, while eucalyptus branches and small sprigs of foliage curl along the sides. Cream flowers and two monarch-style butterflies add a gentle, woodland touch to the border.

The lettering OWL FAMILY is set in bold brown capitals on a carved wooden plaque at the bottom. The plaque has an ornate frame and a small compass ornament underneath, which ties the print to a feeling of old maps and forest trails. Together the owls, the plants and the plaque make one picture of a close group that stays together through the night.

Made for this crowd

Owl lovers will notice the variety first, because each owl is drawn with its own species shape and expression. Collectors of woodland decor will recognize the moon and eucalyptus frame as a classic nature style. Anyone who keeps a shelf of bird figures or a wall of forest prints will find this design fits right in.

The owl family idea works well for households with several people who gather in one room. You can wrap it around your shoulders while the rest of the family reads or watches a film. It also suits a sibling who keeps a close circle of friends and likes to tease them about being a flock.

Moments it suits

A cold autumn evening is a good moment to pull the Owl Family Blanket over your knees with a mug of tea. The moon and star sky feels right for late reading sessions. It also works as a housewarming or birthday gift for an owl fan who keeps a shelf of birds at home.

Available as a fleece throw, a Sherpa throw, a fleece blanket and a Sherpa blanket, the design fits any of these comfortable styles. Each one carries the same seven owls under the same moons.
