Purple Patchwork Scripture Faith Blanket: Verses for Every Day

Purple Patchwork Scripture Faith Blanket shows a patchwork of Bible verses, with the words I AM A Child of God set in the center panel. Each square carries a short promise, such as Be strong and very courageous or I will fear no evil, and the lines are meant to be read slowly. It suits anyone who keeps a daily prayer habit and wants their faith close at hand.

What the print says

The center of the design is a deep purple panel that reads I AM A Child of God, with a white cross, a dove and an open book drawn around the words. Surrounding it, the patchwork squares hold verses in black and white lettering, each set on its own tile. Some squares are gray, some are lavender and some are white, so your eye can move from one verse to the next without losing the thread. Smaller squares hold phrases such as Rooted in Christ with a cross growing roots, and If God is for me, who can be against me. Along the edges, a tribal-style border in purple, black and white frames the whole patchwork, linking the scripture panels to a bold and modern pattern.

Who sees themselves in it

You will notice the center panel first, then the verses you already know by heart. Anyone who reads scripture daily will find a favorite square, whether it is Philippians 4:6 about worry or Joshua 1:7 about courage. It fits a reading chair, a prayer corner or the couch where you spend quiet evenings. Pastors, Sunday school teachers and small group leaders often want something to keep at hand during a hard week. This Purple Patchwork Scripture Faith Blanket gives you a set of verses to return to again and again, one square at a time.

Meant as a gift

This is a fitting present for a birthday, a baptism or a confirmation, when the person receiving it is starting a new season of faith. It also suits a friend who is going through a difficult stretch and needs a reminder that they are not alone. Choose the fleece throw for everyday use or the sherpa throw for cooler nights, and you have a keepsake that is easy to wrap and easy to remember.
