A closer look at the print

The bear is the clear focus, shown in a three-quarter walk with its head turned toward the left edge. Its fur is rendered in dark browns, with lighter tones along the muzzle and shoulders. Behind it, evergreens of different heights stand in layers, and the far mountains rise in pale green and cream. The sky is a soft cream band that makes the dark bear and trees stand out clearly. Framing the scene is a wide border of stepped diamonds, zigzags and small rust-colored circles, arranged in olive, dark green and cream. A large diamond motif sits at the top and bottom, tying the patterned frame to the wilderness scene. Together the elements feel like a traditional woven rug that has a forest story inside it.

Who will love it

People who notice the bear first are usually the ones who already spend time outdoors, from weekend hikers to anyone who keeps a list of national parks they want to visit. You might picture it on the couch during a rainy afternoon, when the bear and the pines seem to call you out the window. It also suits families who enjoy camping, since the scene feels like a campsite view that is always waiting for you. Someone who decorates with a cabin theme will find the earthy palette easy to fit into a living room.
