Safari Nursery Blanket with a Child of God Verse

Safari Nursery Blanket shows the printed words “You are a child of God,” followed by “wonderfully made, dearly loved and precious in His sight,” and the verse reference Psalm 139. Those lines tell a little one that they are known, cherished and valued, and they are easy for a parent to read aloud at bedtime. The design is built for a nursery where faith and fun share the same space, so you can hold it close while the words stay visible.

The artwork explained

A watercolor giraffe stands tallest on the left, its long neck tipped toward the text. A lion sits in the lower corner with a calm, round face, and an elephant and rhinoceros rest together near the bottom edge. A zebra leans in on the right, and small bees hover in the open space between clouds. Soft green leaves and ferns frame the whole scene, and a small wooden cross sits above the words. The lettering alternates between teal capitals and black script, so the verse reads clearly while the animals keep the mood light.

Who it suits best

Families who want scripture in the nursery will notice the verse first, then the gentle animals that surround it. You can picture it going to godparents, grandparents or a church community that wants a keepsake with real meaning. Parents who prefer a calm room will also appreciate the soft greens and watercolor clouds, which work well with a neutral crib.

When it fits

This blanket suits a baptism or christening, where the Psalm 139 words make a meaningful memory. It also fits a baby shower, a first birthday or a homecoming from the hospital. Keep it nearby for bedtime reading, or drape it over a stroller on a cool morning.
