A closer look at the print

Two skeletal figures sit side by side within a tall, golden archway that frames the entire composition. Their bony hands meet in the center to cradle a small bouquet of dark and light roses. Above them, a white crescent moon hangs in a black sky scattered with four-pointed stars. The border features intricate gold filigree and vertical vine patterns running down the sides. At the bottom, a rectangular banner displays the words The Lovers in a classic serif font. This artwork belongs to the gothic tarot aesthetic, blending traditional card imagery with a darker, romantic sensibility.
