Starry Night Cat Blanket: Black Cat Gazing at the Sky

Starry Night Cat Blanket puts a black cat with wide blue eyes right at the center of a swirling painted sky. The cat gazes up at a bright yellow star, and no words are printed, so the story is told entirely through the picture. It suits anyone who loves cats and the bold, textured look of Van Gogh-inspired painting.

Note: the pillow and mug shown in the photo are for styling only and not included.

A closer look at the print

The black cat sits in the lower part of the design, turned toward the sky with its head tilted up and its ears alert. Its eyes are wide and bright blue, drawing your attention straight to the star above. The star is a single warm yellow shape, the only solid point of light in the scene. Around it, the sky is built from thick, looping brushstrokes in deep blue, pale turquoise and gold, giving the whole surface a raised, textured feel. Along the bottom edge, a row of flowers in red, orange, pink and white grows through the grass, adding small bursts of color beside the cat's tail. The contrast between the dark, sleek cat and the energetic sky makes the scene feel both quiet and alive. Every element works together to create one calm, glowing night.

Who will love it

The first thing most people notice is the cat's upturned face and those bright blue eyes. Cat lovers will recognize that look instantly, the focused gaze of a pet who has spotted something worth watching. If you enjoy art with a playful side, the Starry Night Cat Blanket gives you both at once. It works well for anyone who spends evenings on the couch with a book, a show, or a sleepy cat curled nearby. You can also share it with a friend who is always posting pictures of their cat, since the design speaks directly to their everyday world.
