Sun and Moon Celestial Blanket: Hippy Sun Design for Home Decor

Sun and Moon Celestial Blanket shows a large sun with a face, and the golden rays spread across deep blue fabric. This vintage-inspired print captures the feeling of a starry night sky without words. It is made for anyone who loves cosmic art and wants to add warmth to their living space. Draping it over a sofa instantly transforms the furniture into a statement piece that reflects a love for the universe and ancient symbolism.

The artwork explained

A massive, stylized sun dominates the center of the print, featuring a detailed face with heavy-lidded eyes and a calm expression. Radiating from this central figure are long, pointed golden rays that extend toward the edges of the fabric. Scattered throughout the deep blue negative space are numerous celestial objects, including crescent moons in various orientations, four-pointed stars, and tiny ringed planets. A wide border at the bottom displays a repeating pattern of smaller sunbursts in orange and gold, adding a structured finish to the free-flowing sky above. This composition blends astronomical imagery with a folk-art aesthetic that feels both timeless and mystical.

Who it suits best

Those with an interest in Wicca or bohemian home decor will notice the immediate spiritual resonance of the celestial symbols. The Sun and Moon Celestial Blanket fits perfectly in a reading nook where you want to feel connected to the cosmos while relaxing. It also works beautifully as a gift for friends who collect vintage posters or appreciate 1970s artistic styles. The design turns ordinary furniture into a canvas for personal expression and cosmic appreciation.
