Sunflower Dog Blanket: Dachshunds Among the Blooms

Sunflower Dog Blanket shows a packed crowd of dachshunds, each one peering out from a field of golden sunflowers, and it is the kind of picture that makes you smile before you know why. There are no printed words, so the charm comes from the sheer number of long-nosed dogs staring back at you. It is made for anyone who believes one dachshund is never enough.

Artwork and lettering

Dozens of dachshund faces fill the blanket edge to edge, some red-brown, some black with tan markings, and a few with collars peeking out below their chins. Their ears flop in every direction and their eyes look out with a mix of curiosity and mild expectation. Behind them, bright yellow sunflowers with dark brown centers spread across the background, bringing warmth to every corner. The dogs sit close together, layered so that a larger dog in the middle anchors the whole scene. Nothing is written on the print, which lets the dogs and flowers do all the talking. Together the faces and blooms make a cheerful, busy picture that feels like a sunny afternoon in a dog park.

Made for this crowd

People who keep dachshunds, or who have been adopted by one, will notice the breed right away and smile at the familiar ears and noses. Dog lovers who collect pictures of their favorite breed will recognize the long bodies and expressive faces they know so well. You may also love it if you are the friend who always gets asked to dog-sit the neighbor’s wiener dog. Anyone who curls up with a pet on the couch will find this blanket a natural match for those lazy evenings.
