Sunset Mountain Cabin Blanket: Horses at Dusk

Sunset Mountain Cabin Blanket puts a horse at the heart of a calm evening scene, with glowing skies and a warm cabin waiting across the water. There is no printed text here, so the picture does all the talking. Anyone who loves open country will feel the pull of this view right away. It was made for riders, ranch people and those who feel most at home under big western skies.

Note: the pillow shown in the photo are for styling only and not included.

The print at a glance

A spotted horse with a pale blaze and a long, wind-swept mane fills the center of the picture and looks off to one side. Behind it, snowy peaks rise against an orange sky with clouds lit from below. Tall pines line both edges, and a wooden cabin sits on the shore with its windows glowing. Along the top and bottom, running horses move in silhouette between bands of diamond and tribal patterns. The whole scene feels like the last light of a long day in the mountains.

Who it is for

You will likely spot the horse first, then the cabin, then the running horses along the border. Riders and horse owners tend to notice the markings and the mane right away. Anyone who has spent a weekend at a lodge or a campsite will recognize the glowing windows and the quiet water. You might pull this blanket over your legs after a long day at the barn, or drape it across the couch during a cool evening at home.

Occasions to use it

This design makes a thoughtful gift for a birthday, a holiday or a retirement celebration for someone who loves horses or the outdoors. It also fits a housewarming for a family with a cabin or a ranch. Choose the fleece or sherpa throw to suit how the recipient likes to stay warm. Once it arrives, it is easy to keep it near a favorite chair for the quiet hours after sunset.
