The Lord Blanket: Bible Verse Throw for Faith

The Lord Blanket opens with a patchwork of purple, black and white squares, each carrying a line of scripture, and the center panel declares I Am a Child of God. Those short verses make it easy to find a promise you need that day. You will notice the blend of bold serif lettering and handwritten script across the squares, which gives the throw a warm, lived-in feel.

Artwork and lettering

The large center panel reads I Am a Child of God in white letters on deep purple, with a small cross and an open Bible drawn above the words. Around it, the squares hold verses such as The Lord is my strength and my shield, The Lord will fight for me, and Always pray & never give up. Some squares use script lettering, others use block capitals, so the eye moves from one promise to the next. The strip of patterned borders along the edges echoes the patchwork inside. The verses are printed with their references, including Psalm 28:7, Exodus 14:14, Luke 18:1 and Psalm 27:1, so you can look up each passage. Together the squares read like a small wall of scripture, and the dove and star details add a quiet, peaceful touch to the center.
