Throw Tomatoes: A Classic Ketchup Label Design for Foodies

Throw Tomatoes shows the iconic Heinz Tomato Ketchup label, and the phrase thick rich delicious captures the essence of a perfect condiment. Draping yourself in this nostalgic graphic brings comfort to anyone who appreciates classic American pantry staples. It is made for the home cook or diner regular who finds joy in familiar flavors.

What the design shows

The artwork centers on the famous white keystone label set against a deep red field. Inside the border, the word HEINZ sits above the small text ESTD 1869, followed by the large block letters reading TOMATO KETCHUP. A detailed illustration of a red tomato hanging from a green vine occupies the lower center of the white space. At the bottom of the blanket, the slogan THICK. RICH. DELICIOUS. is printed in white sans-serif font. This layout faithfully reproduces the visual identity of one of the most recognized condiment bottles in history. It belongs to the genre of foodie decor that treats packaging art with the same reverence usually reserved for fine paintings.

Who it was made for

People who collect quirky kitchen gifts will notice the precise replication of the commercial label first. A Throw Tomatoes blanket serves as a conversation starter at family gatherings where everyone remembers the taste of their childhood burgers. It fits perfectly on a couch in a den dedicated to cooking shows or game days. This makes it an ideal present for the friend who insists on using the original bottle rather than a squeeze container.
