A closer look at the print

The artwork features a weathered parchment background that sets a nostalgic tone for the central typography. Hanging pine branches adorned with red and green baubles frame the top edge, creating a natural border above the text. To the left, a large red stocking brims with candy canes and gifts, while a fully decorated Christmas tree stands on the right beside a stack of wrapped presents. A small mouse wearing a Santa hat and holly scarf sits near the bottom center, directly referencing the final word of the verse. The lettering alternates between elegant script and bold, ornamental serif fonts in deep crimson and black ink. This composition blends traditional holiday imagery with a lighthearted literary joke that celebrates the season with personality.
