Volleyball Player Blanket: Glitter Spike Design for Fans

Volleyball Player Blanket shows a glittery purple silhouette of an athlete mid-spike above a net, with the word VOLLEYBALL in sparkling block letters across the top. The sport and its pink-and-violet shimmer will feel like it was made for the player in your life.

What is printed on it

The largest figure is an athlete caught at the top of a spike, one arm stretched high and the other swung back for balance. A ponytail trails behind her head, and every curve of her body is filled with a purple glitter texture that catches the eye. Below her, a white volleyball net runs straight across the design, its square mesh rendered in soft pink tones so it sits gently behind the figure. Above the net, a volleyball hangs in the pale sky near the top right, its panels picked out in pink, which gives the eye a clear path from the player to the ball. The top of the design carries the word VOLLEYBALL in tall, collegiate-style block capitals, filled with the same sparkling pink glitter as the figure. Behind everything, the background moves from peach at the left to lavender and pale violet on the right, with tiny white sparkles scattered across it like light on water. Together these pieces read as a single moment of play frozen in glitter.

Made for these people

The people who will notice this first are the ones who know the sport well: the spiker who has practiced that approach a thousand times, the setter who sees the ball leave her hands, and the libero who spends every match diving for the next rally. Coaches and team parents recognize the net and the spike instantly, and many will think of the girls they have watched grow up on the court. When you wrap yourself in this blanket on the sideline between sets or on the couch after a long tournament weekend, the design tells the story of the sport you love. It is a comfortable way to keep the game close during the off-season, during recovery days, or on the night before a big match.

A gift idea that fits

This is a natural choice for a player's birthday, a team banquet, or a season-end celebration where everyone goes home with something to remember the year. It also works for a graduating senior who is leaving the court behind and wants a reminder of her years on the team. Pick the fleece or sherpa style from the options on this page, depending on whether you want something light for a bedroom or a little extra warmth for the living room sofa.
