We Read to Know Blanket: Bookshelf Design for Readers

We Read to Know Blanket features the phrase We Read To Know We Are Not Alone across wooden shelves. The design displays colorful books, potted plants, and a ginger cat nestled among the lettering. This artwork celebrates the comfort found in stories and shared human experiences. It is made for anyone who finds solace in a good book.

What the design shows

Five horizontal wooden shelves span the width of the fabric, holding rows of books with vibrant spines in red, blue, teal, and yellow. The main text is integrated into these shelves, with a ginger cat resting comfortably between the words TO and KNOW. Small details include a red heart, a leafy vine, a calendar, and a mug marked with LOVE. The bottom section features a dictionary, a cactus, an alarm clock, and a bespectacled cat reading a green volume. This illustration combines the tactile appeal of physical books with the emotional reassurance of the central message, creating a visual representation of a safe and well-stocked reading retreat.
