Wisteria Floral Blanket with Hummingbirds and Blossoms

Wisteria floral blanket brings watercolor hummingbirds, butterflies and blossoms into your living room, and the soft lavender background makes the whole scene feel like a spring morning. It is a calm pick for anyone who notices birds and flowers on a walk.

The design piece by piece

Four hummingbirds are the main subjects, each caught mid-hover or perched on a thin branch. Their wings are painted in soft purple, green and blue, and their throats shine in rose and pink. Long clusters of wisteria hang from the top and sides, their petals layered in deep and light violet. Magnolia and cherry blossoms fill the gaps near the branches, with white petals and pink centers. Small butterflies in lavender, pale blue, green and gold drift between the flowers, and fern-like leaves sweep across the lower corners. The brushwork looks loose and watery, so the flowers and birds seem to blend into the background rather than sit on top of it.

Everyday moments

The people who will notice this print first are gardeners, bird watchers and anyone who keeps a window feeder or a patch of flowers. You might spread this floral hummingbird blanket across a reading chair on a rainy afternoon, or fold it over the arm of the sofa when the first warm days arrive. It also fits a sunroom, a guest room or a porch swing, where the colors pick up the light.

When you need a gift

This print suits Mother's Day, spring birthdays, housewarmings and thank-you presents for a neighbor who tends a beautiful garden. Pick the fleece throw for a light, easy wrap, or the sherpa throw when you want something a bit thicker for chilly evenings. Give it with a potted plant or a bird feeder, and the gift will feel like part of the same garden.
