World's Best Cat Mom Blanket: Quotes for Cat Lovers

World's Best Cat Mom Blanket shows a patchwork of twelve cat quotes around three kittens snuggled together under a ribbon that reads “World's Best Cat Mom.” The lines poke fun at a cat-loving life, from “Home is where the CAT is” to “I have No idea but Cat.” It suits the woman whose house runs on fur, food bowls and tiny paw prints.

The design piece by piece

The center square holds three kittens, an orange tabby in the middle with a gray and a white kitten pressed against him. Their eyes are closed, and they look content, as if they have just finished a long nap. A pale pink ribbon curls beneath them, carrying the words “World's Best Cat Mom” in a soft serif face. Around that center, the quote panels form a grid. Some are set in bold black capitals, like “CATS ARE MY FAVORITE PEOPLE,” while others mix script and block letters, such as “Cat mama life is PURRFECT.” The borders are striped and checked in black, white and pale green, which frames the quotes like the squares of a patchwork quilt. Small paw prints and a yarn ball appear among the lettering, and a cartoon orange cat stretches across the bottom left panel. Each panel is a little joke about cats: a yarn ball, a napping cat in a bed, a cat in a box.

Everyday moments

The people this throw suits will notice the paw prints and the kittens first, then start reading the quotes one panel at a time. A cat mom will recognize the line “you left paw PRINTS ON MY HEART” from her own routine of muddy feet on the counter and fur on her black sweaters. Someone with more than one cat will smile at “Yes I really DO need ALL THESE cats,” which is easy to say with a lap full of felines. A grandmother who fosters kittens may find “Busy Being a cat MAMA” sums up her week. On a cold evening the throw works on the couch while a cat sleeps on the other end, and each panel gives you something new to read during a quiet hour.

When you need a gift

This blanket fits the cat lover in your life on Mother's Day, a birthday, a housewarming or the anniversary of the day a rescue came home. It is also a good pick for someone who just adopted a kitten and needs a reminder that the new routine is worth it. Wrap it with a cat toy or a bag of treats for a playful bundle. Pair the throw with a mug and a favorite snack for a cozy evening in, and watch the reader find the panel that sounds exactly like her house.
